Opal is one of my favorite materials to work with. It has to be carved slow and carefully because it likes to break - but the rewards are worth it. If you want to select one of my opals and have me make a special order I can email a picture  of material to choose from

This is an Alaska lynx claw the size of a mountain lion and thus the  big cap cap. Cap is bronze cast from my own original carving from a ship propeller Chain goes between the legs to hang it

Mammoth tooth is considered rare material , especially when it slices and does not fall apart, This is about 40,000 years old , hard and takes a nice polish Seal is used because  both the seal and mammoth are Alaskan and lived in the same area

This is amethyst with cast otter on top. The amethyst is in a metal backed setting cast for the stone. I used 'otter' theme because the stone reminded me of a fast moving stream where the otter lives

From the 50's this is a sperm whale tooth turned into a cigarette lighter ( introduction of tobacco and alcohol to the natives) Hard to acquire legal teeth has to be an artifact  like  this.

Left beads wolf foot bones $8 a pair
Silver end caps helps stop bone from splitting as well as for looks. Naturally hollow bones. Alaska Timber wolf a byproduct normally thrown away. Consider these beads if you choose one of my animal product pendants (a tooth claw etc) Oh-- they are a naturla prodcut that come in sizes and  shades and I'm not inclined to set asdei this exact  bead. So you get 3 choices. Add style 1-3 in the order or else  you get 'whatever'

I'm just now getting the cart worked on and will keep adding. I have inventory it is just a matter of doing the bookwork and entering (the part I hate, making it is easy, or acquiring the cool raw material keeping track of it is another matter). Hey! I can't be good at everything! Geez! Gimme a break! (smile) I already do all the art work, the book , made the tape. I carve, I cast I paint, I take pictures, I made the web site and run it, I do the taxes I answer the emails I find many of the fossils myself. I hate keeping track of stuff. So, Oh well!
